It’s about time I shared this outfit, as it’s one of my favourites from the year so far. Yep, and I’m not even exaggerating. I think it’s because I totally adore the bright lemon pattern against the pastel blue, the colours contrast perfectly. And I must say the way the dress floats so beautifully, it literally screams summer.
These shots were taken by the beautiful and talented Rebecca Spencer, when we were shooting in London, Chelsea. I am truly in love! I wanted a bit of femininity and flirty and that’s exactly what I got.
Whether you’re a fan of chocolates, fruits, or hamburgers, you can show your love for food by wearing them as prints on your dresses. I’ve seen these gorgeous fruity prints on many of my favourite bloggers recently, and I have a feeling that the printed buzz is certainly here to stay for some time and I can totally see why these prints shout Italian summers.
High street store Topshop has already got to grips with the trend, with their collection featuring an array of playful colours and fruity prints. If you’re not bold enough to wear your food prints on dresses, then simply opt for a crop top or shirt. This way, you’ll look more playful and innocent on your street looks or go for a jacket or coat instead that you can easily put on and take off whenever you wanted. Some of you may feel patterns are too extravagant and a bit loud, but I can tell you they are so wearable, you only need to decide which patterns works for you. Seriously have a go!
